Bobby Eddy breathed life into Rockin. We are going into our sixth year because of Bobby's idea from years ago. He wanted to honor his grandson in a way that would be fun for everyone yet still bring respectful attention to the cause.
Bobby knew what needed to be done and with a nod he said, "Let's do it."
The rest is history.
And Bobby Eddy's legacy.
This year we dedicate ROTR20 to our event creator. Our dream maker.
Our original Rocker.
This year, we Rock for Bobby.
Three friends had only a pen and drink napkin as their design board. It was their wish to bring attention to the autism spectrum and folks with special needs. The friends brainstormed an event that would bring together a weekend of music while benefiting those with different needs. In 2015, the first annual Rockin on the River hit the shores of the Kissimmee River!
Over the last five years. ROTR has raised almost $150,000 for programs assisting about 3000 students, men and women with special needs. If you've Rocked with us, you have helped to make this happen!
VICTORY RIDGE ACADEMY is a Lake Wales school where children with special needs overcome daily challenges and enjoy success in learning and living.

They like to pick on a porch! This is a stress free collaboration of musicians with one common goal. ... playing the kind of music they like!
The Porch Pickers were honored as Best Local Band during the Ledger's 2018 Best of the Best Awards.

Peter asked, “Master, how many times do I forgive a brother or sister who hurts me? Seven?” Jesus replied, “Seven! Hardly. Try seventy times seven.”
We are a blues/rock n roll band from Central Florida. Our influences include Led Zeppelin, The Who, and any great classic rock from the 60s & 70s! Kathyrne Agner (Kat) is our lead singer, her father Billy Agner is on bass, Dr Nicky Waslyn is on guitar and Howard Warren is on the drums. We love to have a good time and play music that shakes our souls. Peace, Love & Happiness is our motto.
A good old southern rock, classic rock, country band formed out of the love for music and wanting to play music ... period. Its not about making money or anything else, just playing good old southern rock the way it was meant to be played.
Black Water's main influences are Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, 38 special, Jason Aldean, and Johnny Cash.
With nearly 30 years in the spotlight, Diffie has no plans to slow down. “I love music. It’s just a part of me,” he says. “Retiring would be like cutting off my arm or something. I enjoy everything about it. The travel part gets old once in a while admittedly, but I love the fans. It beats working any day.”
Diffie has 5 #1s and 17 Top Ten hits like John Deere Green, Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox, Pickup Man, and Ships That Don’t Come In.
Come on. It's the Nathan Baldwin Band. Need we say more?
